Ellie Jane Goulding grew up in England, Hereford. Her birth date was the 30th December, 1986. Tracey Goulding Summers is her mother. Her father Arthur Goulding comes from a funeral family that is a home. Goulding came into the world in 2000. She has two sisters, Isabel and Jordan. The brother of her is Alex. Alex is her brother's younger. Alex plays his bass. Alex also is part of a Hereford-based band. Alex was encouraged by her mother to learn music as a young girl. Starsmith collaborated with the singer on Lights. She signed with Polydor Records even though Under the Sheets was originally released on an independent label Neon Gold Records.
